Hi everybody

This is another option that it is possible for you to take in the games brief that may even win you some cash.

It is a competition brief where you would design a set of characters for a company that caters for kids parties - you can find the brief at the link below.

PLEASE NOTE: If you wanted to do this you would also have to additionally make it into a game to satisfy the games brief.

I would like you to concentrate on developing your ideas today and spending some time looking at some of the downloadable flash movies in the de733 games part of the site. Then write a short synopsis for your game idea (150 words will do) and email it to me.

First Year

task 1

Go to trevsfiles.com/download and download the acid1.tut.doc and loops.zip files from the acid_1 folder located inside the year1 folder.

Do the acid tutorial and experiment with acid. The software can be found on the PC's in the main area and also in the pod.
To access the software go to programmes then sony then acid.
The sound library is in a folder called acid pro on the d drive.

Task 2 continue working on your simple flash site on any topic you like. This should demonstrate that you are comfortable using lables and buttons
This is just a simple exercise that you will need to present to me in next mondays session.

Task 3

Continue thinking about your ideas. I will also be keen to hear them in next mondays session. Write about 150 words describing your idea.
Be as clear as you can.
